Recap...part deux

Ok, so Christmas and New Year's were taken care of with the slide show below, but here are a few other things from December '08...

Caleigh performed with the beginner band at her middle school's winter concert.

Grandma T. arrived here in Texas a couple of weeks before Christmas, so we did a little sightseeing with her before everyone else arrived. We went to see the Trail of Lights in Zilker Park in Austin. It was sooo cold that night!

We went to Main Street Bethlehem in Burnet, TX again this year, but this time it was warm and extremely crowded. It was definitely not as enjoyable as last year because of the crowds, it made it difficult to really see everything.

Also in December, Caleigh went to a real recording studio and recorded a Christmas CD with the Activity Days girls (girls between the ages of 8 and 11) from our church. That was really cool!

A random picture of the dog in his Christmas attire.

Now on to 2009...

January '09 - We had a fun visit from Auntie, Pop-Pop and Charlie. We crammed lots of fun activities into the two short days that they were here. Activities like bowling, a road trip to San Antonio to see the riverwalk, shopping at the Domain, Harley-Davidson in Round Rock, a drive into downtown Austin, dinners out at Chuy's and the Salt Lick. It was a whirlwind weekend!

Febuary '09 - Dan and the kids flew to Connecticut for Pop-Pop's 90th birthday party. They had a great time visiting everyone.

Blame the poor picture quality on the fact that the real camera was forgotten in TX, so Dan had to use iphone camera.

The kids were excited to see snow for the first time in a year and a half too, even though there wasn't much to see!

To be continued...
