Sea World!!

On Wednesday July 2nd we decided to drive down to San Antonio to make use of our season passes to Sea World. We bought them about four months ago, but hadn't gone yet. We left after Paige's swimming lesson and got down there around 12:30. We went and checked in at our hotel, ate sandwiches that we'd packed for lunch, then headed over to Sea World. On our first day, we just saw a few shows and rode a few rides like the one below:

Caleigh, Jacob, and Dan are in the third row in the picture below. If you click on the picture you can kind of see the look of terror on Jacob's face. Funny.

Since Paige was too short for that ride she hung out near the bottom of the big drop and got drenched. I think that was her favorite part of the day.

We saw the Shamu show. It was pretty good. Apparently the one they do in the evening is better. We'll have to check it out next time we go.

On our second day, we went and fed the dolphins (that was really cool), rode a couple of rides and spent the rest of our time in the water park - until the skies opened up and poured on us. Luckily, we were in our bathing suits and were already wet. We changed into dry clothes and headed back home in time to go to our neighbor's 4th of July party which they had on the 3rd.
