2008 Coach Pitch All Stars

Well, the all-star season ended today. Jacob's team just missed making it to the championship game, ending up in third place. It's been a really exciting season and we're actually a little sad that it's done. He's also done with coach-pitch baseball. Technically, he could still play in the fall and also spring, because of his birthday being in May and the cut-off date being April 30th, but his coach is moving up to kid-pitch with his son (because his son is a couple of months older than Jacob). Anyway, the coach wants to keep Jacob on his team and we think he's ready to move up as well, so in the fall he'll be playing kid-pitch.

While Jacob's games were going on, Paige entertained herself by seeing how dusty and dirty she could get. She became known as Pigpen - named for the Charlie Brown character, you know, the dirty one who walked around in a cloud of dust all the time!

Second Place win - week 2 (our team is on the left in white jerseys)

YAY!! I am glad you posted stuff--I am have been wondering how you guys have been doing. It looks to me like you are having too much fun (well maybe the kids are having too much fun)! What's in store for the rest of the summer without all the sports and stuff?? I guess probably just trying to stay cool. It's been in the 90s this whole week and I can't help but complain-but I am sure that is nothing compared to what the weather is like for you guys.

Well, hope you are all doing good. LOVE AUNT KIM
