Trying to Play Catch Up

It's been way too long since we updated the blog, so here comes a really long post...get ready...

We had a nice Christmas 2007 here in Texas. We spent Christmas Eve over at Steve & Janet's, where the kids exchanged gifts with their cousins and we visited with Christine who arrived that evening from Connecticut.

Grandma & Grandpa Theriault arrived Christmas morning and Dave & Kim arrived the next day. It was nice to be all together for the Holidays.

At the park in the afternoon on Christmas Day.

At Mount Bonnell in Austin.

In January, Dan bought a couple of tickets to the Cowboys vs Giants playoff game on Ebay.
He and Jacob went to the game while the girls and I did a little shopping in Arlington.

The view from their seats.

In February, Jacob had his second grade performance at school. He even had a solo in it!

We also went to the rodeo in February for a night of free carnival rides, courtesy of Dan's old boss.

Spring baseball started up at the end of February. Dad is an assistant coach this time around.

In the beginning of March the Dell Diamond had an open house where we were able to watch an exhibition baseball game as it would have been played in 1860. It was cool to see the difference between then and now.
The umpire and one of the players.

Mid-March brought a fun visit from Grandma Jo and Kevin. We were so happy to have them here and hope they come back again soon!

We celebrated Caleigh's birthday at the Shoreline Grill in Austin.

Before we knew it, it was already Easter.
The annual Easter Egg Hunt in the park by our house.

On Easter Sunday we had family and friends over for dinner. After dinner, we had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard for the kids.

Have your eyes glazed over yet? Mine have. I told you it would be a ridiculously long post! There's more but it'll have to wait 'til next time.
