These are a few of the big things:

Dave and Kim got married in May in Idaho Falls, and I went solo to the wedding. That was a really fun trip. Too bad we couldn't all go (kinda, sorta!...the solo part was nice too).
Dan and I flew to Fort Wayne, Indiana at the end of May for Dan to interview for a job out there. He was offered the job, but turned it down because it was the only site within a 2 hour drive of Fort Wayne and he was worried that if that site closed, he'd be out of a job. That has been a very sore subject in our house ever since. That's all I'll say about that right now. Hopefully another opportunity will present itself someday and the outcome will be different.
Caleigh, Jacob and Paige all completed a great year of school.
In June we put our house up for sale just as the real estate market was coming to a screeching halt. Luckily for us, we had an excellent realtor and within 6 weeks our house was on deposit.

Showing a house with 3 young kids who are on summer vacation is no picnic, let me tell you! So for 3 weeks the kids and I left town! We spent a couple of weeks with Grandma and Grandpa in St. Bruno, then tagged along with them to Steve and Janet's in Madison, Wisconsin for almost a week, with a couple of overnight stops at Paul and Liz's in Ridgetown, Ontario. That was a great trip. The kids loved hanging out with their cousins and really got to know each other. Now we'll have a little further to travel to see them since they moved to Austin, Texas. Hopefully they'll come see us too.
The rest of the summer consisted of sorting, selling, throwing away, giving away and packing our things to move. Even though we had a small house, we had an attic and basement's worth of storage space, which we no longer have. Our living space is the same here as it was in the house, but our storage space is basically nothing. I guess I should mention that we moved back to the apartment in Greenwich.
The whole timing of the sale of our house and availability of the apartment was another problem.

We had a trip planned to Disney for September 1st to the 9th, and our closing for the house was scheduled for the 11th (how's that for ominous). So we had to move out of the house before we left for Disney. We moved out on Tuesday Aug. 29th into a hotel, went to Disney (had a fabulous time!) , and moved back into a hotel for 5 more weeks when we got back, because the apartment wasn't available until October 15th. Living in the hotel wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it was REALLY expensive.
Finally , mid-October we moved back into the apartment that we had before the house. Jacob's room needed some modification to seal off a doorway that led into Pop-Pop's apartment, so we got that done and the room freshly painted. There are still a few things that need to be fixed in the apartment, but we don't really want to sink a lot of money into this place since it isn't ours.
Caleigh and Jacob have settled in to their new school nicely. The school system here is a thousand times better than where they were in West Haven. Caleigh and Jake both had very good report cards and their teachers had nothing but positive things to say about them at the parent-teacher conferences. They've made many new friends as well. Paige will start preschool here in Greenwich after the new year. Luckily we found a pseudo-preschool here that doesn't charge more than a small college tuition.
Now we are preparing for Christmas which is fast approaching. This year we will be home for the Holidays. Mom and Dad Theriault are coming down in a few days and will spend a few days with us before flying to Texas to spend Christmas and New Year's with the rest of the family. I wish we could have gone too, but hopefully we'll see everyone next Christmas. Well, that is it for this entry. I will try to update more regularly.
