A Day out with Thomas

Today after church Dan, Jacob, and I headed to Essex CT with Christy, Danny, and Charlie to see Thomas the Tank Engine. We went for a twenty minute train ride and saw lots of Thomas train sets all set up for the kids to play with. There were rides for the kids to go on, but we got there too late and did not have time for them before our scheduled train ride. Since we were the last train ride of the day, by the time we got back, all the rides were closed. Now we know that if we ever do it again, we need to allow for more time there to do everything. Jacob and Charlie were in their glory though! We didn't tell Jacob where we were going until right before we got there. His face lit up when he found out!





There was a little time to spare while waiting for Thomas to leave the station. As you can see, the boys managed to entertain themselves.
