A Trip to the Apple Orchard

Jacob had his first field trip today. It was also his first time riding on a big yellow school bus. His Kindergarten class went to Rose's Orchard in Branford today. They got to pick two apples, one pear, and one little pumpkin each. There was a hay maze that everyone got to go through. Since it's been raining pretty much non-stop for about a week or so, the hay maze was emitting some pretty smelly fumes! The kids didn't mind the smell as they ran through it several times. Once was more than enough for the adults though. Peeee-eeew!
